Easter

We had a great Easter, but it was mostly undocumented. Unfortunately we realized that our camera was completely broken right as the egg hunt was starting at the McDonald's house on Sunday. argh. We got a few shots Saturday while decorating eggs, though. It looks like Jackson was not having a good time, but actually he was just concentrating really hard on his designs.

Luke got to dye the eggs too while practicing his two favorite phrases A LOT. "I do it." and "I hold it." He's very independent like his Mommy (and Daddy).

Before the camera was broken, my battery charger was lost for a long time. So there has been a real shortage of picture-taking lately. I wish I had pictures of the fun time we had in Houston last weekend visiting our brother and sister-in-law Nathan and Leslie. They had a big ole birthday party for all three of their kids, Wil, Cate, and Hud, who were turning 3, 2, and 1 respectively!

I'm back in business now. I just went to Target and got a new camera so I can keep the blog going this week while we're in Houston again for a screening of the film we did last summer, Fighting Goliath. Grammy and Papa (my mom and dad) are coming down to stay with the boys while we're gone. I've only been away from Luke overnight a couple of times in his entire life, so I've got a little anxiety about the trip but I'm sure the boys won't miss us at all. I'll let you know how it goes...

Fishing is...fun?

There are so many different emotions apparent in Jackson's expression here. So cute...

Foster Family Weekend

It's been awhile since I've blogged. We've had some busy weeks around the house and at work. We got to go north recently, though, and spend some time at my parent's house in Rockwall. We had a really fun time together. I love seeing all these aunts and uncles and grandparents and cousins loving on each other. Here are some pics...
